I scanned an 02 dodge ram 1500 for an air bag fault. Everything looked good until I read the fault code. The fault code that comes up is P200 with has something to do with fuel injectors.I tried to clear it but is a constant fault.I went out of the module then tried again and received the same fault.I am using the dodge adapter.Should I be using the standard OBD11 adapter instead.Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Its worth trying reading it with normal OBDII plug and see it that helps..........But, to me it looks like its a software bug..........

It would be nice if you could do a full Auto Scan for this vehicle and send them data log files for future checks...........

First, it is suggested you check the car accordingly.

Common Problems That Trigger the P0200 Code

    • Defective Fuel Injector
    • Faulty or corroded Fuel Injector, wiring, and/or connections
    • Plugged Fuel Injector
    • Dirt in the Fuel Injector

    Common Misdiagnosis

    • Fuel Injector or PCM is replaced when the problem is in the wiring and connections

I should not be getting a P200 code from the SRS module.P200 is a engine code not a SRS code.I scanned engine module no codes.
